Featuring Benelli’s Technology:
The Progressive Comfort recoil reduction system incorporates three sets of patented interlocking flexible buffers that absorb recoil at three different stages dependent on the strength of the shotshell’s load. The system is made from a light weight flexible polymer and is completely contained within the 828U stock.
Stage 1 engages when your using light loads and compresses to absorb the recoil energy. Stage 2 engages when the shooter fires more powerful loads. The energy of the shoot is absorbed by the both the first and second layers. After the first layer is completely compressed the second layer absorbs the remaining energy. Stage 3 is the most rigid layer. This stage is used when firing magnum loads, and provides the final layer of cushion to absorb energy from the heaviest shells.
Custom Fit Stock
Adjustable Drop and Cast
Benelli has created the first O/U that allows for a customer fit stock. With 5 drop and 4 cast shims the 828U can be adjusted to one of 40 possible stock positions. The adjustable stock allows a shooter to find their natural alignment with the barrel and target, which translates into more broken targets.
