The Franchi I-12 is Inertia Driven® and does not rely on gas valves or pistons. The heart of the inertia system is simplicity itself – a free floating bolt compressing an inertia spring as the gun recoils, creating power that works the action.
With none of the bulky gas cylinders and associated hardware under the fore-end, the Inertia Driven® I-12 has a slender, low profile fore-end that better fits the shooters hand and makes for faster handling.
