  • The side-by-side hammerless shotgun has been around since the early nineteenth century and was widely used in Europe by 1860’s. The British had perfected the side- by side and had been considered the standard of a quality.
  • By 1883 production was started in the United States.
  • Considered by many to be the classic upland bird gun today’s side-by-side has made a comeback in favor with many wing shooters.
